JOB BRIEF: Montauk Brewing Company was founded in 2012. Today, it is the fastest growing brewery on Long Island. We are looking for the right person to help out around the brewery and be a true Montauk brand ambassador! Part of making great beer means lugging kegs, keeping the brewery clean and organized at all times, and administrative work. We are also looking for someone who can host promo events and represent the core values of the Montauk Brand in and outside of the brewery. We want to stress that this is an incredible opportunity for the RIGHT individual, it isn’t about drinking beer. This is a fun industry, but it takes hard work, passion, and dedication to really succeed.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
Supporting and promoting Montauk Brewing Company core values and purpose
Live locally (Southampton - Montauk) during the summer months (May-September)
A valid driver's license, clean driving record
Must be 21+
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Ability to lift and move cases and kegs frequently (on-site brewery interns)
Friendly, positive, confident and engaging attitude
Flexible schedule is a must, as this position includes evening and weekend sampling events, promotions, and festivals.
